My tribe talked about this book for months, and I eagerly awaited the time for our book club to read - Untamed by Glennon Doyle.
Each chapter goes by fast and leaves me with succinct quotes that capture my truth. I took pages of notes to keep them forever and remind myself of the lessons I've learned, like - "I don't need a permission slip because I'm free."
I now want my daughter to read this book and unlearn some of the lessons I passed on.
Glennon pours out her latest knowing and how she is choosing to live brave and vulnerable. The book seems to call you to witness and take what is helpful.
I had to stop reading for a day or two after reading the "Comfort Zones." When she said, "suffering is my comfort zone," my approach to life seemed to make sense. Now that it is named, I can focus on learning to make joy my comfort zone.
This book offers Glennon's personal story, but there are no directions or structures for doing the same. If you are looking to be let loose and maybe set ablaze, this book is for you.
You can find this book at my favorite bookseller with the link above, or reach out to Gilbert and Ivy directly for a personal touch and extra help.
